Research

I'm a doctoral candidate here in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Oregon. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Botany, Environmental Science, and Zoology at Miami University. From there, I arrived at UO and completed my Master's degree on non-invasive monitoring of bonobos at Iyema, Lomako Forest, Democratic Republic of Congo. My research program spans multiple topics and species ranging from captive animal well-being to socio-endocrinology. My most recent work and dissertation research focuses on the evolutionary genomics of bonobos and chimpanzees.
