Statement

Tahisha is from Cave Junction, Oregon.  She is in her first year of getting her Doctorate in Human Physiology.  She has already received her B.S. in Human Physiology from the University of Oregon.  In the course of getting her undergraduate degree she worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in the Exercise and Environmental Physiology Lab.  She currently works in Dr. Halliwill’s Exercise and Environmental Physiology lab with a focus on cardiovascular control during and post-exercise. She is an Anatomy 321 Course Grader and Lab Instructor.  She received the Promising Scholar Award in 2011.  After she completes her degree, she hopes to get a challenging postdoc position and learn how to be a competent researcher in the area of cardiovascular physiology.
