JD Van Alstyne joined the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business in June 2022. He provides programs and services that increase the career readiness of Lundquist College graduate students and connect them to job recruitment and employment engagement opportunities. He is available for individual advising sessions and conducts workshops and presentations on resume and cover letter writing, interview skills, networking, and other career related topics.

Previously, he held leadership positions in the nonprofit and food and beverage industries. Notably, he was the executive director of Nourish International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting the personal and professional success of student leaders pursuing social impact careers.
