Biography

Shaina Trevino, Ph.D. is a Postdoctoral Scholar in the HEDCO Institute for Evidence-Based Educational Practice. She is also a Postdoctoral Scholar in the Prevention Science Institute. Dr. Trevino completed her doctorate in Prevention Science at the University of Oregon with a specialization in educational data science and quantitative research methods. As a quantitative methodologist, she has expertise in creating and implementing data quality solutions, data harmonization and analysis, and privacy preserving data publishing methods. Her scholarship focuses on evolutionary-developmental models of risk behaviors and aggression, intergenerational transmission of self- and emotion regulation, and violence prevention.
