Austin is originally from Cave Junction, Oregon and earned his BS in Exercise Science from Linfield College in 2011. Austin is a PhD student in Dr. Adrianne Huxtable's Respiratory Neurophysiology and Plasticity lab. He studies how inflammation impacts the neural control of breathing.
