Angelita Chavez is currently pursuing a PhD in Political Science with a special interest in American politics, immigration law and policy, and the DREAM Act. Other research interests include comparative law, women and politics, and the politics of race. Currently holds a JD from the University of Washington School of Law and has worked in the area of immigration since 2005.
