My work explores the intersection of gender, economics, and the family in the Soviet Union and post-Soviet Russia. My upcoming MA thesis, "From Russia With Love," focuses on the experiences of Russian women who married American men they met online in the 1990s and early 2000s. I am passionate about oral history and approaching stories of daily life in a historical context. My work focuses on questions of autonomy, class, gender, and the global market.
