Biography

Barbi Goosens (she/her) leads the law school’s faculty administrative support services and support staff; provides communications support to the law school’s Appropriate Dispute Resolution Center (ADRC) and Business Law Program (BLP); and plans, develops, coordinates, and communicates faculty research programming and special projects. Prior to this appointment, she oversaw the administration of Oregon Law's top-ranked Legal Research and Writing (LRW) Program.

Barbi earned her BA in English, magna cum laude, from the University of Oregon and an MA in English Studies (focusing in composition and rhetoric, literature, and theory) from Western Washington University in Bellingham, WA. Barbi taught college-level writing and rhetoric courses for six years before beginning a career in nonprofit development and administration. Before joining the law school staff, she served as the Associate Director of Development/Corporate, Foundation, and Donor Relations for University of Oregon's internationally renowned Oregon Bach Festival.
