David Howell, MS, ATC

A doctoral student in the Motion Analysis Lab, David’s research interests are focused in the recovery from mild traumatic brain injuries (concussions) in high school athletes. Specifically he is interested in investigating gait and neuropsychological measures and their respective clinical significance.  Also he hopes to identify ways to determine if an athlete is ready to return safely to physical activity and how this can be achieved in a safe but realistic manner.

He graduated in 2011 from the University of Oregon’s Accredited Post-Professional Graduate Athletic Training program where he worked with the U of O football and lacrosse teams.
