Statement

Garron directs CASIT and has responsibility for overall budget, financial, and administrative operation of IT within CAS. He is responsible for determining the strategic direction of IT within the College of Arts and Science, and works with CAS leadership to establish operating policies and approaches for computing and information technology. Garron also assess the College of Arts and Sciences IT needs and defines and delivers services supporting CAS research, instruction, and administrative missions by overseeing the research, implementation, and evaluation of new technologies.

When not on campus, Garron enjoys welding, making furniture, fishing, riding bicycles and golfing.
