Profile

My primary research area is international political economy, with an emphasis on global capital-labor relations. Drawing on theoretical analyses as well as data from fieldwork in Indonesia, my current project examines production processes in the global South and, with it, the dynamics of power relations among major actors in the world economy.

Other research and teaching areas include social theory, gender and work, development, and statistics.
