Profile

I am interested in a variety of inter-related subjects:  I took my comprehensive exam in Criminology and am researching the relationships between addictions, treatments, and crime as I complete my Sociology dissertation.  I am very much an environmental sociologist, but more specifically an ecofeminist as that term embraces all who are marginalized regardless of race, gender, class, or species.   I have written the biography of Reverend Billy Talen, the anti-consumerist, performance artist, eco-evangelist.  I am also pursuing a better understanding of the correlation between birth rates and transnational economies.  I enjoy statistical analysis and all that it implies but cannot prove.
