My research interests include morphosyntax, language change over time, and co-speech gesture. Current projects include a diachronic study of complex fear constructions in English, a synchronic look at the morphosyntax of fear constructions in Indo-European languages and the metaphor of spatial distance, and an investigation into how players of a role-playing game construct a narrative together.
