Statement

Mariah began working for CASIT in late 2012 as a Student ITC in the Help Desk before joining the CASIT Staff team part-time in mid-2014 while finishing her undergraduate degree in History and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. After receiving her Bachelors of Arts in 2015 she joined the team full-time. As the Operational Coordinator for CASIT, Mariah is responsible for providing administrative support to the CASIT and SSIL, including attending weekly CASIT Leadership meetings on behalf of the Business Office, coordination of the CAS New Faculty Technology Subsidy and CAS Computer Replacement Program (CCRP), assisting the HR Manager with any and all HR related tasks. Mariah is also the Chair of the CASIT Diversity and Inclusion committee which consists of approximately 10 CASIT Staff and student employees.

Mariah has volunteered locally and nationally with Planned Parnethood for the past three years and is very active in social justice movements in the community. In addition to volunteering Mariah enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, reading, and expanding her knowlegde base on just about everything.
