Michele is a clinical supervisor and a medical SLP currently working in an acute care setting. She completed her thesis in dysphagia research and coursework at Idaho State University under the guidance of Dr. Tony Seikel. She has experience working in various medical settings with a variety of etiologies. Her passion is counseling families and patients with acquired cognitive, language, motor speech and swallowing deficits. Her community involvement Includes guest lectures focused on being the family member of an individual who experienced severe dysphagia and cognitive impairment and facilitating a stroke support group. Michele is certified in MBSIMP and is FEES trained.
