Amy is a PhD candidate from Taiwan. She received a B.S. in Physical Therapy from National Yang-Ming University in Taipei, Taiwan. She then went on to receive a M.A. in Pathokinesiology from New York University. She has worked as a Physical therapist and has done research in neural control and biomechanics of human movement. The focus of her research is visual attention during locomotion. She has taught HPHY101 Exercise as Medicine (Discussion instructor), HPHY103 Exercise & Performance (Lecture instructor), HPHY333 Motor Control (Lab instructor) and HPHY381 Biomechanics (Lab instructor). She has received the New York University Steinhardt 3-year Fellowship. She enjoys traveling, movies, performing arts, hiking and biking.
