Statement

Jennifer is in her 1st year of her PhD program and is originally from Spain. She majored in Physical Therapy and specialized in Pediatrics. She received her M.S.  in Neuro-rehabilitation from the Catholic University Saint Anthony of  Murcia in 2009 and her  M.S. in Neuroscience from the University of Salamanca in 2010. She has worked with children with neurological disorders since 2007 and is now pleased to join the Motor Control lab at the University of Oregon. The focus of her research is the development of reaching across development in healthy infants and in children with Cerebral Palsy and how this is related to postural support of different trunk segments. After she completes her PhD she hopes to continue researching in the area of motor control in infants.
