Statement

Ryan is a fresh Analyst Programmer for CASIT. Currently, he is working on the Distance Education Testing Site but will be performing development and validation for various future CASIT projects as well. 
Ryan graduated from UO in 2013 with departmental honors from the Computer and Information Science department. He is now back at UO to study towards his Masters in Computer and Information Sciences. 
During undergraduate, Ryan spent time working as a Lab Assistant and Help Desk Support for the Tech Desk, after which he proceeded to doing Undergraduate research in the field of Systems Security and Forensics. Thereafter, he gathered some more academic experience working as a Research Assistant at UIUC; his research consisted of analyzing cyber physical systems in the power grid. He continued into industry working on Intel's TrueKey application as a Lead Software Validation Engineer. He has happily returned to the University of Oregon and is looking forward to the coming years as an advent student and developer.

In his spare time, Ryan most enjoys hiking Oregon and playing board/card/video games with friends. He is always interested in recreational sports/activities and will likely sign up for your team if you suggest it to him.
