Beckie is originally from Visalia, CA and moved to Eugene in 1995. She received her Bachelor of Arts in 2012 from the University of Oregon in Journalism with a minor in Communications. Her husband and two of her children are also Ducks. Beckie lives in Springfield and started working for the Department of German and Scandinavian in 2013. She also owns her own freelance editing business.
