As Sapsik’ʷałá Program Coordinator, Stephanie maintains daily administration for the Sapsik’ʷałá (Teacher) Education Program, and provides student support and advocacy for participants. Her work includes recruitment support, job placement, connecting students to resources, and serving as a liaison to the Sapsik’ʷałá Tribal Advisory Council. Previously, she served as the Native American Retention Specialist/Academic advisor for UO, and co-founded the Native American & Indigenous Academic Residential Community (NAIS ARC).
Stephanie is from Owyhee, Nevada and a member of Shoshone-Paiute Tribes of Duck Valley Indian Reservation. She earned her B.S. in Planning Public Policy and Management from University of Oregon (2014), and her Masters of Community and Regional Planning at University of Oregon (2022).
