Biography

Ana Peters (Zalyubovskiy) has taught at colleges and universities in the U.S. and abroad. A former anthropological researcher, nurse, farmer, and refugee advocate, she holds an MFA in fiction from Vermont College, Montpelier, Vermont, and has published a novel about Hmong refugees, The Soul Caller, and creative nonfiction in New Millennium Writings, Boulevard and elsewhere. She also holds an MA in English with a concentration in writing from Minnesota State University. For more than a decade she developed and taught a variety of composition, creative writing, and ESL courses in South Korean universities. Fall, 2018, was her first term teaching freshman composition for the English Department.
