Kara Chanasyk is principal at Experience Innovation, a consultancy that partners with organizations to leverage the power of design thinking and human-centered design to transform how people, processes, and products come together to deliver innovative solutions.

Over the last two decades, Chanasyk successfully founded and led two user experience design consultancies and cofounded a digital health startup where she led the product design of tools to treat anxiety and depression of returning veterans. She also led the user experience and design thinking education initiative for the GE Healthcare global enterprise, where she also served as a Fastworks Innovation coach.

In addition to a love for good design, Chanasyk has a lifelong passion for sports and the outdoors. She played division 1 softball at the University of Connecticut where she was recognized as BIG EAST Pitcher of the Year, All-BIG EAST Conference First Team, and Big East Academic All-Star. Today, she continues to explore her passion through cycling, trail running, and mountaineering.
