Research:
 
Chris is a doctoral student with research interests in evolutionary psychology, market integration, human attraction, non-communicable diseases, parasitology, Latin America, and hunter-gatherers. 
As an undergraduate Chris became a member of the McNair Scholars Program. He has conducted fieldwork and assisted with several research projects in Amazonian Ecuador with The Shuar Health and Life History Project: http://www.bonesandbehavior.org/shuar/index.html 
Prior to graduate school, Chris worked as a wildland firefighter and as a counselor at a treatment center for youth with mental health disorders and addiction issues.
