David Mason joined the School of Music and Dance in 2011. He comes to us from UO Facilities Services, where he has served as project manager for three years. David has earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in music and theater and continues to perform with the Eugene Concert Choir and Vocal Arts Ensemble.

The facilities director coordinates all aspects of the operations and maintenance of the music facilities in the Frohnmayer Music Building, Berwick Hall, Beall Concert Hall, and Collier House and the dance facilities in Gerlinger and Gerlinger Annex. Duties also include scheduling all music performances, overseeing the box office functions, and organizing all of the logistical concerns in presenting public performances, as well as conventions and conferences. The director coordinates and supervises the schedules and assignments for events for the piano technician, production manager, and recording engineer. This position serves as the primary contact for building security, keys, and safety.
