Giovanni Francischelli, M.A., is a Brazilian media studies scholar and a film producer. He has produced several feature documentaries and short films that were screened and awarded in film festivals around the world. His work is focused on media democratization, diversity and counter-hegemonic narratives. His research areas of interest include cinema and TV industries and the political economy of media/communication.
