Helen Gernon is a professor emerit of accounting and School of Accounting gifts officer at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business. Her teaching interests include effective leadership, international accounting, federal income taxation, and managing and understanding cash flow from the entrepreneur's perspective. Her research interests pertain to multinational corporation financial reporting practices and the impact of capital market pressure on disclosure.
