Biography

Irina Botvinnik came to the United States in 1989 with a degree in computer science from a Russian university. She worked for several small-to-medium-sized software development companies in California's Silicon Valley, creating and supporting commercial software applications. In 2004, Botvinnik moved to Eugene to raise a family. Before joining the Lundquist College of Business in 2012, she held a two-year, grant-funded position as a web developer at Zebrafish International Resource Center, affiliated with the University of Oregon's Institute of Neuroscience. In her spare time Irina enjoys taking her family and friends hiking and to the theater.
