John Anderson, ASLA is a landscape architect, campus planner and educator based in Eugene, Oregon. As an instructor in landscape architecture at the University of Oregon, he is dedicated to helping educate the next generation of landscape architects. He offers over thirty years of experience in all phases of landscape architecture and site design for a diverse client base that includes municipalities, real estate developers, institutional and public and private entities. His passion is teaching about design and sharing with students the excitement (and responsibility) that will come with seeing people occupy and enjoy a space created from their imagination. His academic scholarship focuses on design based pedagogy and studio based cognitive development, paired with the utilization of the university campus as a learning laboratory for design. He is a Principal and Partner with The Satre Group in Eugene.
