Kurt Zimmerman is the executive director of development for the Lundquist College of Business. Prior to joining the Lundquist College in 2013, Zimmerman served on the University of Oregon Athletics development team for 14 years. His most recent position as assistant athletic director for major gifts saw him overseeing the major gift development program and team. He previously served as director of annual athletic giving, and before that as a regional development officer.

Zimmerman graduated with honors from the University of Idaho in 1994 and went on to earn a master's degree from Penn State in 1996. He began his professional career at University of Idaho working in marketing and development.
