Biography

Laurie Ehlhardt Powell, PhD, CCC-SLP, is a Research Associate Professor at CBIRT. She has directed NIH and NIDILRR-funded projects targeting the systematic instruction of assistive technology for cognition for adults with acquired cognitive disabilities. Dr. Powell is currently Principal Investigator/Project Director for CBIRT's NIDILRR-funded TBI Trainer Skill Building project and Project Director for Oregon's Administration for Community Living (ACL) TBI State Partnership grant. She is also a clinical speech-language pathologist specializing in cognitive rehabilitation for adults with mild TBI/concussion.
