Profile

Matthew is currently a practicing attorney, and also teaches undergraduate courses at the University of Houston in communication law & ethics, persuasion, rhetoric, public speaking, and communication technologies. He has also worked as a reporter and columnist. His research interests include media and the law, especially with regard to the internet and new technologies; media ethics; people’s relationship with technology; and how smartphones and other devices are changing the way people interact.
