Profile

Margaret Stanny has worked at the University of Oregon since 2016. She joined the staff at the School of Music and Dance in 2019, after advising students on study abroad opportunities with Global Education Oregon.

She has worked with undergraduate students in various capacities since 2010: teaching French as a graduate student and visiting instructor at the University of Illinois, working as an on-site assistant for study abroad programs in Paris, and advising on study abroad. A pianist herself, she’s excited to be working with students passionate about the arts and in a position where she can help them navigate their academic career in the SOMD.
