Paolo Daniele is the current Director of Professional Development and Career Preparation at the Division of Graduate Studies, after having served for two years as Assistant Director of Student Services for the SOJC's undergraduate program, overseeing first-year and student recruitment initiatives. He previously was the University of Oregon's coordinator of Fulbright, international exchange, visiting, short-term programs and originator of innovative educational inbound initiatives, concurrently serving as an international student advisor. Prior to moving to Oregon, Paolo worked as a program manager for the UCSF Institute for Quantitative Biosciences (QB3) where he was called to assist in the marketing aspect of partnering industry with academia, and for UCLA’s Postdoctoral Scholar Affairs Office. As a former participant of the Japan Exchange and Teaching Programme, he enjoys promoting internationalization and cultural exchange efforts with Japan.
