Wonhee Arndt has been teaching at the Product Design Program at the University of Oregon since 2009. Wonhee is a partner in Studio Gorm. The studio specializes in design and research in sustainable approaches to household objects and furniture. Wonhee’s work has been internationally exhibited in Germany, Italy, Korea, as well as USA. Wonhee has won international design awards such as the Red Dot Design Concept Award and International Design Excellence Award Silver medal. In 2015, Wonhee and her partner John Arndt founded a global design collective, Furnishing Utopia and has been working as one of the core organizers for FU. Furnishing Utopia connects creatives and cultural institutions to explore and learn about different cultural heritages and its values, and create new design objects relevant for today. Wonhee received her Masters degree from the Design Academy Eindhoven, the Netherlands.
