Rebecca Force has worked as a feature writer, operations coordinator, and news director, and she has over 35 years of broadcast experience. She earned a degree in biology at Vassar College before studying journalism at Southern Oregon University. She worked with KEZI for 15 years and KOBI for 10 years.
When Force began teaching at the UO, she got involved with the TV program “UO Today,” for which where she produced 366 episodes over 11 years. She is also the advisor for “Duck U,” the university’s student-produced variety television program. Force was recently inducted into the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences’ Silver Circle in honor of her more than 25 years of outstanding service in television.
