Research

Dr. Trevino’s current research is focused on understanding best practices for data sharing and conducting evidence synthesis reviews. In collaboration with the HEDCO Institute for Evidence-Based Educational Practice team, Dr. Trevino supports the development of workflows for rapid evidence synthesis data collection and analysis, as well as conducting systematic evidence reviews to encourage the use of evidence-based practices in K-12 education. Within the Prevention Science Institute, she is developing and implementing privacy preserving data publishing methods to de-identify school district and student microdata and archive it online for research use.
