Publications

To date, Dr. Machalicek has 93 peer-reviewed publications and 14 book chapters pertaining to assessment and intervention to improve the communication and social skills, play, and challenging behavior of children and youth with autism and other developmental disability. These articles been published in a variety of journals, including the American Journal on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, Behavior Modification, Education and Training in Autism and Developmental Disabilities, Journal of Applied Behavior Analysis, Journal of Positive Behavior Interventions, Research in Developmental Disabilities, and Research in Autism Spectrum Disorders. Dr. Machalicek actively engages students in applied research as evidenced by 48% of her publications including student co-authors. (See CV for full list of publications)
